  • Pedestrian pathways covering approximately 41,000 square meters, promoting walkability

Hamad Al Shehhi, Director of Roads at the RTA’s Traffic and Roads Agency, stated that these works build upon previous upgrades, including new entry and exit points to Al Warqa’a from Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, completed in June 2025. The RTA has also outlined that further infrastructure works are actively underway in Al Warqa’a 3 and 4, focusing on — 

  • road resurfacing
  • expanded pedestrian pathways
  • parking facilities
