Dubai: Emaar Properties has announced plans to launch a major new master-planned development in Dubai worth Dh200 billion, marking one of the developer’s most ambitious projects in the emirate. The upcoming community is expected to accommodate nearly 150,000 residents and will have a gross floor area of more than 4.5 million square metres.

The master community will be divided into five character zones, each designed with a different lifestyle purpose. These will include a business hub, an urban district, a young families cluster, a family living zone and an exclusive villa enclave. The villa component is expected to feature five- and six-bedroom residences and mansions with private gardens, water features and resort-style amenities.
