Meraki Group has announced plans to expand into Dubai South with a new mixed-use development called Celeste. The off-plan project will feature 284 apartments split between studios and one- and two-bedroom residences. The developer plans to officially unveil the Dubai South development in November 2026.
Meraki has set a handover date of the first quarter of 2030 for Celeste. Buyers can pay for their apartments using a 40/60 payment plan. The plan means 40 percent of the price is paid during construction and 60 percent on handover.
The new project at Dubai South marks another addition to Meraki's growing presence in Dubai. The developer now has seven projects in its Dubai pipeline. Those seven developments are valued at nearly a billion US dollars combined.
Meraki currently has roughly 2400 residential units under construction across its Dubai projects. The expansion into Dubai South brings the developer to a new area of the emirate. The location puts Celeste near Al Maktoum International Airport and Expo City Dubai.
The mixed-use nature of Celeste means the development will combine residential apartments with other facilities. Meraki has not yet detailed what additional amenities or commercial space the project will include. Those details should emerge when the developer officially launches the project next month.
Dubai South continues to attract new developers and projects as the district expands. The area offers more affordable land than established parts of Dubai. That makes it attractive to developers looking to launch projects with competitive pricing. The November unveiling of Celeste will provide more information about unit sizes, pricing and the full range of facilities planned for the development.
