In a significant advancement for Dubai’s urban transportation infrastructure, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has inaugurated a bridge connecting Jumeirah Street to Al Mina Street, marking a transformative milestone in the city’s ongoing development.
The newly completed three-lane bridge, stretching an impressive 1,210 meters, stands as a testament to Dubai’s commitment to enhancing urban mobility. With a remarkable capacity to accommodate 4,800 vehicles per hour, this engineering marvel promises to revolutionize traffic flow in one of the city’s busiest corridors.
“This strategic project provides seamless connectivity while significantly reducing travel times,” shared Mattar Al Tayer, Executive Director of RTA, during the inauguration ceremony. The bridge forms an integral part of the ambitious Al Shindagha Corridor Improvement Project, which spans 13 kilometers across vital thoroughfares, including —
